I believe I figured out the problem with incompatible helper

There ( I believe due to my experience with the matter ) is a problem when you download monity helper from the app it sends you to the helper download for windows , so you need to sellect for OS X and in there is the proper download link.

If you have Monity and have had a problem with the helper then you downloaded the windows version which is incompatible.. you need to completely delete Monity with a good app deleter because there are several files that will be left over from helper .

“ Easy find “ app is free on the app store and in my opinion works better than spotlight ; remove all helper files and any others that say monty after of course you’ve used a good app deleter , and then you can re download monity . Follow instructions in first paragraph .
