I like this app, would like it better if I could see hard drive stats per drive rather than as a sum of all drive activity. I’m not sure that the fan information is correct. My HDD fan shows 0 RPM always. AHT doesn’t have anything to say about my HDD fan.

As a power user I tend to install and play with many utilities. In fact, as an Enterprise Systems Architect, that’s what I do a lot during the day as well for large companies. On all of my Apple systems I have installed Monity and the Monity Helper. These tools provide an accurate and comprehensive introspection into what is occurring with the system, and is much easier to walk our Apple users through than looking for all this information across other tools. Monity centralizes this information right in the notifications drawer provided by Mac OS X. Battery displays are accurate on the MacBook Air, MacBookPro and apple accessories like the Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad and Apple Wireless Keyboard. I would not hesitate to make the recommendation for other users.

I’m using a 2012 Macbook pro retina 15 and it tells me that the monity helper app is not compatible. As a result I can’t get any of the extra tabs. Very disapointed unless i can find a fix.

I got this to check my fan speeds on mac mini. Had to install the UPDATE to get the fan speed feature. PROBLEM is their own APP link goes to a bogus website. Then I find it by GOOGLE after some searching online. POOR POOR app, not complete. I pay 5 bucks to get some info, and I get NOTHING in the end. I try to download the UPDATE and it says NOT COMPATIBLE. I have done nothing wrong here, but this app says you get fan speed, but no, you don’t. You get a BROKEN APP.

There ( I believe due to my experience with the matter ) is a problem when you download monity helper from the app it sends you to the helper download for windows , so you need to sellect for OS X and in there is the proper download link. If you have Monity and have had a problem with the helper then you downloaded the windows version which is incompatible.. you need to completely delete Monity with a good app deleter because there are several files that will be left over from helper . “ Easy find “ app is free on the app store and in my opinion works better than spotlight ; remove all helper files and any others that say monty after of course you’ve used a good app deleter , and then you can re download monity . Follow instructions in first paragraph .
